Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Alana believes that we all deserve to feel at peace in our body and truly love the skin we are in. If you worry about your body, exercise, or what you eat, if your harsh inner voice controls your life, you deserve support and guidance. Alana is passionate about helping individuals break free of the hold that disordered eating, negative body image, low self-esteem, anxiety and stress have on their lives.

Alana is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and offers virtual and in person psychotherapy options for those facing disordered eating, body image concerns, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress management and other mental health concerns. She believes there is no one size fits all approach to healing and will work collaboratively with you to create the right treatment approach.

Alana draws upon her own lived experience and advanced training specifically for disordered eating, body image, anxiety, and depression to help guide you through this healing journey. She uses a person-centred approach, drawing upon several modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to aid you in your healing journey.

Alana offers flexible hours and in-person or virtual therapy options for older adolescents and adults.
