GAL ZOHAR, M.ED.
Gal is a compassionate therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can deepen self-awareness, process life’s challenges, and reconnect with their inner resilience. She believes healing begins from within—and that each person is the expert of their own life.
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Gal is committed to creating a safe space where clients can deepen their self-awareness, gain a fuller understanding of themselves, and tap into their inner resilience. At the heart of her practice is the belief that healing happens in connection — both with yourself and with others — and that clients are not defined by their past and have the strength to flourish despite setbacks. Passionate about exploring how early and relational experiences shape people’s lives, Gal helps clients uncover and heal the root causes of recurring struggles, explore the deeper layers of their experiences, and build more authentic connections with themselves and others.
Gal’s approach is warm, compassionate, and tailored to each clients’ unique needs. Blending humanistic, attachment-based, emotionally-focused, psychodynamic, and parts work approaches, she offers a relational style of therapy that emphasizes the therapeutic relationship as a tool for growth and healing. Experiencing a secure and trusting connection in therapy can allow clients to feel true safety, acceptance, and understanding.
She supports clients to gain insight, build self-acceptance, and create meaningful change. Gal works with anxiety, trauma, attachment and relationship challenges, family dynamics, parenting, self-esteem, and personal growth. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Ottawa and is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
Gal is pleased to offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
