Maja (she/her) believes in the powerful effect that can take place when an individual is provided with a safe and non-judgmental space fully centered on them. Maja believes that warmth and empathy build the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship in which the client and clinician can work through issues together.

Maja completed her Masters of Education degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa, and previously graduated from the University of Ottawa with Honours Degrees in Communication and Psychology.

Maja has clinical experience providing counselling to adolescents aged 18 and older, and adults facing various challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem, academic/work-related stress, and interpersonal issues. Maja employs a person-centred, integrative approach to counselling, drawing from a variety of modalities including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based practices, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy.
