Mia’s treatment approach is based on developing Self-Compassion to facilitate clients in re-discovering their resiliency.

Mia provides counselling/psychotherapy to individuals 18+ experiencing stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and the challenge of finding a sense of meaning and identity.
Her treatment approach is trauma-informed, and based on developing mindfulness skills, regulation skills and self-compassion to facilitate you in re-discovering your resiliency. She draws on influences from Humanistic therapy, CBT, ACT and Mindful Self-Compassion. Mia also has a passion for sharing psycho-education to help you understand the purpose of skills shared in therapy.
Mia believes that you are the expert of your life, and sees her role as being a fellow human offering some extra support through life’s ups and downs.
