Cynthia is a warm and friendly Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Her therapeutic approach is all about collaboration and tailoring each session to meet the client’s unique needs. She draws upon various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Narrative Therapy, Supportive Counselling, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused interventions, as well as incorporating self-compassion and mindfulness.

Cynthia is passionate about connecting with clients to achieve their potential, goals, and needs. In therapeutic relationships, she values acceptance, creativity, compassion, confidentiality, safety, and sometimes even humour. She works with clients who face challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, work issues, coping skills, school, stress, and suicidal ideation. She also strives to make her practice LGBTQ+ friendly. She is excited to be a part of the Resiliency Clinic to help people build resilience and cope with life’s ups and downs.

With a Master of Arts Degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, Cynthia offers tele-therapy, with weekday, evening, and weekend appointments available. She provides services in English to individuals 18 and over at the Resiliency Clinic and has a special interest in working with youth and university students.
