Emma has a particular focus on supporting individuals living with chronic illness, including Type 1 diabetes.

Therapist/Intern
Emma is completing her psychotherapy internship at Resiliency Clinic from September 2025 to April 2026 as part of her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Ottawa. She holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Neuroscience and Mental Health with a minor in Psychology from Carleton University. Emma has experience supporting individuals in a variety of personal challenges such as chronic illness, anxiety, stress-management and more. With a competitive background in sports and experience coaching high-performance athletes, she brings a unique perspective on motivation, resilience and mental well-being.
Emma offers an evidence-based, multidisciplinary approach to therapy, with an emphasis on creating a safe and welcoming space where clients can explore personal growth and build resilience. She draws from cognitive behavioural and mindfulness-based approaches, individualizing her work to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. Emma has a particular focus on supporting individuals living with chronic illness, including Type 1 diabetes.
She is offering virtual and in-person services for adults 18+. As part of the internship program, Emma does offer a sliding scale for therapy costs, according to the needs of her clients.
