Emilie Josephson

Intern/ Therapist, MACP Candidate

Emilie is a psychotherapy intern currently completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology. Before turning to the field of psychotherapy, Emilie led a career in organizational change management, which equipped her with valuable skills for supporting people as they navigate change and build resilience.

Her practice is informed by her life-long interest in mindfulness, mind-body approaches, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She works from a trauma-informed perspective and draws on various therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), CBT, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Narrative Therapy.

Emilie’s primary focus is on supporting adult and teen clients, particularly those experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, and somatic concerns. She views therapy as a journey of self-discovery and growth, and she feels honored to walk alongside clients as they walk this path.

Emilie is fully bilingual in French and English and is pleased to offer services in both languages.
