Intern/ Therapist
In a world where individuals arrive at therapy carrying the weight of diverse concerns and unique life experiences, Jasmine approaches the journey of healing with a foundation rooted in Attachment Theory. This insightful framework serves as a guide, allowing exploration of the vital relationships that shape how a person views themselves and their place in the world.
Jasmine seamlessly integrates various therapeutic modalities—such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)—tailoring each approach to meet the specific needs and goals of every client. Recognizing that a strong, compassionate therapeutic relationship is essential, she creates a safe space where clients can delve into the underlying causes of their challenges.
Through a collaborative effort, she stands beside her clients as they navigate the issues that brought them to therapy, fostering a journey of healing, self-acceptance, and personal growth. With the intent to provide understanding and guidance, she helps individuals chart their unique paths toward positive change.
Her experience encompasses working with both adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, and personality difficulties. Moreover, she extends her support to parents navigating the complexities of family life, offering insights and strategies to ease their challenges.
To introduce potential clients to her work, she offers free initial 15-minute consultations. These sessions serve as an opportunity to assess whether their therapeutic journey might align with her approach. Appointments are flexible, available for scheduling in person or virtually, catering to each individual’s preference.
As Jasmine nears the completion of her Master of Arts in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Spirituality, her journey into psychology and psychotherapy is complemented by a rich background. Before embarking on her formal education, she earned a Bachelor of Communications degree and ventured into entrepreneurship, successfully owning and operating two small businesses within the city.
