McKenna Bebee, BAH

Intern / Therapist

As a therapist with the Resiliency Clinic, McKenna strives to offer a safe and supportive environment for those looking for an enriching therapeutic experience. She believes that self-transformation begins by understanding one’s self and past experiences. By providing clients with an open and non-judgmental space, it allows them to embark on their journey of greater self-awareness.

McKenna has worked in the field of mental health and community services for over seven years. She has interacted with people from all walks of life experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, personality disorders, interpersonal issues, trauma, and cognitive and physical disabilities. McKenna also welcomes those who belong to the LGBTQ+ community to her care.

In therapy, McKenna uses an integrative approach in the care of each of her clients. She employs a person-centered approach with elements of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, biopsychosocial, positive psychology, and mindfulness-based techniques. Clients will be encouraged to achieve their goals and utilize their strengths throughout the therapeutic process.

McKenna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She looks forward to becoming a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and is currently a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
