Rachel strives to offer a warm and non-judgmental space for clients to feel heard and understood. She believes therapy offers the opportunity to build self-awareness, identify themes and patterns in life and learn tools and strategies for self-growth.

Rachel provides counselling and psychotherapy to individuals 18+ who are experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, life transitions, personality disorders, self-esteem concerns, obstacles with goal-setting and emotion regulation challenges.

Rachel offers an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy tailoring her approach to the presenting issues, backgrounds and desires of each client. She draws upon a variety of theoretical orientations including, but not limited to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and mindfulness and self-compassion techniques. With a background in sports and passion for physical fitness, Rachel believes strongly in the mind-body connection and integrates a holistic approach into her practice. As a certified professional coach and with a background in business administration, Rachel is particularly interested in values-based work, goal-setting and helping clients to overcome personal setbacks.

Rachel is part of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario as a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying).

She is available to provide sessions both in person and virtually.
