Geneviève recognizes that therapy can feel like a big step, but it can be a powerful part of your journey toward healing and personal growth. Her priority as a therapist-in-training is to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you feel supported and understood. She believes in walking alongside clients as they explore their challenges and discover new strengths within themselves. Together, you can work toward building resilience, fostering self-compassion, and creating meaningful growth that has always been within you.
Geneviève is currently completing her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at the University of Ottawa, and has an Honours Bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in social work.
Geneviève has experience supporting clients of all ages and diverse communities. She values empathy, collaboration, and creating a space where each client’s experiences are honored. She understands that anxiety and feeling overwhelmed around others can be symptoms of an underlying issue. Geneviève is particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, and relationship difficulties. Her goal is that clients leave sessions feeling heard, empowered, and equipped with strategies to manage life’s challenges.
Geneviève therapeutic style is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and Emotion-Focused, Internal Family systems. Together, she can help explore challenges, identify patterns, and practice strategies that help clients navigate stress and build resilience.
Geneviève believes that you don’t have to go through this alone. She is here to listen, work and walk alongside you. Geneviève works in both English and French, virtually and in person. She offers a free 15 minute consultation so you can ask questions and get a sense of whether the fit feels right. She also offers a sliding scale depending on your needs.
