Registered Psychotherapist

Tannoz Tanha is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She creates a non-judgmental and supportive environment by developing a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients.

Tannoz completed her MA in Counselling and Spirituality at Saint Paul University where she had direct clinical experience in providing individual therapy to adults (18+) experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, burnout, work related stress, relational issues, and cultural issues. 

Based on her experiences in working with diverse populations, Tannoz approaches her clinical work from an interpersonal, person-centered lens. She tailors her approach and intervention based on each client’s unique needs. Tannoz assesses the client’s behaviour, affect, cognitions and somatic experience and provides structure to therapy, in order to aid her clients towards reaching their desired goals.

She practices from a variety of modalities such as Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Transactional Analysis while incorporating mindfulness and somatic experiencing. She is bilingual and is fluent in both English and Farsi.
