In her practice, Alisia utilizes an integrative approach to psychotherapy, which includes elements from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based practice.
She strives to create an empathic, non-judgmental and collaborative relationship with every client to address various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation/self-harm, trauma, post-traumatic stress, domestic violence and other interpersonal difficulties. Additionally, Alisia has expertise and focuses on various concerns surrounding ADHD and Borderline Personality Disorder. Alisia strives and actively works towards making her practice anti-racist and LGBTQ+ friendly.
Alisia graduated with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She joined the Resiliency Clinic after gaining experience in the field of Psychotherapy and counselling in private practices. She provides individual counselling and psychotherapy services in English for clients aged 18 and over.
She hopes to have the pleasure of accompanying you on your path towards healing and resiliency.
