Crisanna is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling and Spirituality degree from Saint Paul University as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in social and personality psychology from Carleton University.
Crisanna believes in an integrative approach to therapy while focusing mainly on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). She works with her clients to understand their thoughts, emotions and behaviours while exploring how to move forward and make changes that can impact life in a meaningful and positive way. She also explores the origins of clients’ beliefs in order to aid the client as well as herself to understand the entire picture of who the client is and why they work in the way that they do. Crisanna works with compassion and empathy in a way that empowers her clients and encourages them to take steps towards meaningful change and mental health improvement.
Crisanna provides a safe and open environment, valuing the therapist and client relationship as well as their work together as a team. She will support her clients through a wide array of presentations, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, hopelessness, intrusive thoughts, grief, burnout, and interpersonal stress.
