Sierra Bridgwater is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Carleton University.
She values a client centered counselling approach, in which authenticity, trust, and connection are maintained. With these aspects in place, safety can blossom within the therapeutic relationship and throughout the client’s therapeutic journey.
Sierra provides individual therapy for adults ages 18 and over struggling with issues related to relationships, communication, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem. Based on the client’s individual needs, she uses an integrative person-centered therapeutic approach which draws on various modalities from Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment-based therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. Along with these modalities, she uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tools and Mindfulness-based techniques.
Sierra believes in creating a judgment free environment that meets the clients where they are in their own wellness journey. Her aim is to walk alongside you on your journey.
